Project365: March 2014

March has been such a good month for me. Noah turned two and we had a great celebration with family and friends, we had a little birthday miracle happen, I encountered a stranger that restored my faith in humanity, I lost an inch off of my waist, I got to go on a much needed shopping spree, and I’m that much closer to going to the beach.

Although I said February was the best month so far, I’m changing it to March. So many good things happen, and so many good things are to come.

I not only have to remember to take one photo a day, I have to remember to post one photo a day. I got a little thrown off this month by just posting which day, so now I’m going to post the date of the picture, that way I can always keep up.

Here’s what I did in March.

03-01-14

March 1, 2014. Nashville hosted its first ever Mardi Gras Y’all. Surprisingly, I didn’t see a single pair of boobs.

03-02-14

March 2, 2014. Noah’s in the midst of a daddy phase, so he’s become his new snuggle buddy (although he still snuggles with me sometimes). At least I get to capture sweet pictures of the two of them.

03-03-14

March 3, 2014. Ice on the trees makes the dead trees look so beautiful.

03-04-14

March 4, 2014. See those curls? That’s how I no-heat curl my hair every single morning.

03-05-14

March 5, 2014. This is the look of pure innocence.

03-06-14

March 6, 2014. I make veggie medleys quite often. If I prepare a lot of veggies at once, it ensures we will always have them on hand, so we have no excuses not to eat enough vegetables.

03-07-14

March 7, 2014. Sesame tofu, brown rice, carrots, and broccoli. Noah is leading me towards becoming a vegan. I’m enjoying learning how to cook all of these new foods that are so beneficial for our bodies… except when I completely screw up an entire meal. That happens a lot.

03-08-14

March 8, 2014. This is one of my all time favorite pictures of the two of them.

03-09-14

March 9, 2014. This is what I wake up to every. single. morning. Please excuse the horrible quality of my forward-facing camera.

03-11-14

March 10, 2014. This is why it’s impossible to take him anywhere… I have to wait ten minutes down each aisle for him to do stuff like this.

03-12-14

March 11, 2014. Nashville has some beautiful sunsets.

03-12-14

March 12, 2014. Insert evil laugh here.

03-13-14

March 13, 2014. This was our signature picture when he was younger. Now, it’s rare that he sits still long enough for me to capture him sitting on my lap.

03-14-14

March 14, 2014. Ralph always hugs the arm rests on our couches. They’re wide enough to give his fat butt plenty of room.

03-15-14

March 15, 2014. My mom made these awesome name tags for the kids’ goodie bags. They even have fish puns!

03-16-14

March 16, 2014. Noah always makes sure to include the cats in snack time.

03-17-14

March 17, 2014. Like father, like son.

03-18-14

March 18, 2014. I tried a new infused water… blackberries, pineapple, and mint. It was delicious, but I still prefer just pineapple and mint.

03-19-14

March 19, 2014. Happy 2nd Birthday, my love! We took him out to Rainforest Café since he loves animals. We thought it would be a good idea but every 15 minutes when the animals went off and every 30 minutes when there was a thunderstorm, he clung to me for dear life. He never left my lap and I had to have at least one hand on him.

03-20-14

March 20, 2014. I was trying to show off my baby muscles peaking through and Poof photobombed me. Please excuse my dirty mirror.

03-21-14

March 21, 2014. Party preparation. I blew up balloons until I was on the verge of passing out. Can you find me?

03-22-14

March 22, 2014. He actually blew out his candles this year… I bet he wished for more cake.

03-23-14

March 23, 2014. Simple dinner. Hamburger on Ezekiel toast, bell peppers, onions, sweet potato fries, and homemade honey mustard.

03-24-14

March 24, 2014. Noah loves to kick back and enjoy the ride.

03-25-14

March 25, 2014. Noah went poop in his potty for the first time! Sorry for showing you poop, but this was a proud mommy moment. And yes, I’m just as surprised as you are that that came out of my child.

03-26-14

March 26, 2014. Naked on the couch and watching Caillou… it doesn’t get much better than this for a toddler.

03-27-14

March 27, 2014. They’re getting settled in for their 9pm nap. They nap just in time to be awake and playful right as I’m going to bed.

03-28-14

March 28, 2014. Noah was so excited to go grocery shopping with Tiny.

03-29-14

March 29, 2014. Goodbye ancient box TV, hello upgrade! You have no idea how long we’ve waited for this moment.

03-30-14

March 30, 2014. This is what happens when your toddler is obsessed with what’s in your purse and you turn away from 5.4 seconds.

03-31-14

March 31, 2014. He means business.

How was your March?
